Bringing the #localsilove feature back today to spotlight one of my favorite new spots on the north side. Friends, meet Shine Design's new venture, HOME. In their words,

Besides hitting the Fashion Mall or a couple of shops in Carmel, I really have not found any home decor stores in the area that are carefully curated for the modern taste. One thing I love about Shine HOME is that the goods feel like a mix of old and new. I can attest to their good taste because they even sell some of the same vases that I do! It is clear that they merchandise thoughtfully and creatively.
I stopped by on a Tuesday night and was greeted by one of the owners, Sunshine. Yes, Sunshine! Sunshine was lovely and we chatted for almost an hour about both of our stories, the struggles and wins of small business, and the creative community here in Indianapolis. Shine Design is not new to the area - Sunshine started this brand back in 2007! While Shine HOME is a brick + mortar housing home goods and handmade items like bags and jewelry, Shine Design is the interior design side of the business. They meet clients in a separate space that is upstairs at HOME. They have an affordable per hour consulting fee and I am happy to report that their retail price point spans all budgets.

They have so many fun and funky, yet sophisticated, goodies to choose from. My last blog post and many of my instagram tips mention using bud vases to achieve the floral look you want - see below!
It is obviously their niche, but man, they have some really cool home pieces to choose from.
With the holiday season rapidly approaching, that means the hunt for the perfect gifts has started. I fell in love with their jewelry and bags. I will definitely be gifting from HOME this season!
I am so excited to have Shine in our community and am sending all of my clients + friends their way. I picked up some key items for my thanksgiving table and I can't wait to get back in for some holiday shopping for the stylish friends in my life.
